Pick your @
Tell us who it’s for and how old they are, then the @ and an email address. Nothing else.
Step 2
Click the link we email you
Nothing is held until you click it. If you don’t, the request is deleted after 7 days.
Step 3
Sign up on November 1
Use the same email and your @ is waiting. It stays held until 30 days after the app opens on November 1, so you have time to sign up.

Before anyone can reserve an @, this is where we’ll say exactly what we keep, why, and how to delete it. It goes up before reserving opens, not after.

Does reserving an @ on TYVM cost anything?
No. Reserving an @ is free, and so is making a TYVM page when the app opens on November 1.
How long is my reserved @ held?
TYVM holds a reserved @ from the moment you click the link in our email until 30 days after the app opens on November 1. Until you click that link, nothing is held.
Can I delete my TYVM reservation?
Yes, any time. Every email TYVM sends about your @ has a link to delete your request, and one click removes it and frees the @. You do not need an account.
Can a parent reserve an @ for a teen?
Yes. A parent or guardian can reserve an @ for their 13 to 17 year old with the grown-up’s own email, up to three, one for each teen. TYVM never asks for the young person’s name, email or birthday to do it.
What if I’m under 13?
TYVM starts at 13, so nobody can reserve an @ for someone under 13, and the form stops before it asks for a name or an email. On their 13th birthday a grown-up can set up a space with them that is theirs from the start. More for parents →
