TYVM
✳ Safety

Safe by design, not by settings.

TYVM is built for everyone, including young people. Safety isn’t a box you have to find and tick, it’s how the whole thing is put together.

✳ How it’s safe

The safe choice is the default one.

Money stays locked

Nothing on a kid’s page can take money until a grown-up has joined it. It’s built in, not a promise we could quietly change.

A grown-up is in charge

Guardians see the whole space, drafts included, approve where the money goes, and can pause the page any time.

A report link on every page

Anyone can flag a page from its footer, with no account needed. A person, not a bot, decides what comes down.

No ads, no tracking

We don’t show ads to anyone, and we don’t track or profile people. There’s nothing about you to sell.

Same rules for every helper

Whether you tap the screen or ask an AI assistant, the same checks run. An assistant can only act where its person said yes, and never on money behind a closed gate.

✳ When something’s wrong

How a report is handled.

Step 1

You flag it

Tap the report link in any page’s footer. No account, no hoops.

Step 2

A person decides

Not a bot deciding on its own. Only a person on our team can close a report.

Step 3

We act, carefully

If something has to come down, it does. We say where a problem was, never spread what it was.

✳ Why we’re careful
“A friendly place where young people share their work, and can be supported for it.”

That one sentence is behind every decision on this page. Keeping it safe, for the kids and the grown-ups around them, is the whole job, not a feature we added later.

✳ Privacy & pictures, plainly

Privacy, in plain words

We collect as little as we can to run your page. We never sell anything about you, and we never show kids ads.

A person looks first

On a young person’s page, no picture goes up until a person has looked at it. On any page, anyone can report a picture, and a person decides what comes down. We’d rather tell you exactly what we do than oversell it.

✳ Safety questions

The things worth knowing.

How does TYVM keep young people safe?
Safety is the default on TYVM, not a setting. Money and contact features stay locked until a guardian joins, guardians can see and pause everything, every page has a report link, and TYVM runs no ads and no tracking.
Can a stranger contact my kid on TYVM?
Not until a guardian has joined, and TYVM has no page at all for anyone under 13. After that, if the teen adds a Get in touch box, a visitor can leave a short note with the links taken out, and it reaches the teen and their guardian at the same moment. There is no chat, and the guardian can switch the box off.
What happens if someone posts something bad on TYVM?
Anyone can report it from the page footer with no account, and a person, not a bot, decides what comes down. TYVM says where a problem was, not what it was.
Does TYVM check pictures before they go up?
On a young person’s page, yes: no picture goes up until a person has looked at it. On any page, anyone can report a picture, and a person decides what comes down.
Does TYVM use AI to moderate?
AI helps TYVM spot problems in words and pictures, and anything it hides goes to a person. Nothing it does is permanent.
What does TYVM collect about my child?
As little as TYVM needs to run the page. TYVM never sells it, never uses it to show ads, and does not track or profile anyone.
